Build Real Investment Knowledge Through Structured Learning

Starting in September 2025, our comprehensive program walks you through everything from basic market concepts to advanced portfolio strategies. This isn't about quick wins or guaranteed returns—it's about building a foundation that lasts.

How the Program Works

We've broken down complex investment topics into digestible phases. Each one builds on what you learned before, so you're never overwhelmed or stuck trying to connect scattered pieces of information.

Most people spend three to four months per phase, but you can move at your own speed. Some folks rush through. Others take their time. Both approaches work fine.

Foundation Phase

Months 1-3

Learn what actually moves markets. You'll study asset classes, basic valuation, and why certain investments behave the way they do under different conditions.

Analysis Phase

Months 4-6

Get comfortable reading financial statements and spotting trends. We focus on practical analysis techniques that people actually use, not textbook theory that looks good but doesn't help.

Strategy Phase

Months 7-9

Build portfolios based on real goals. You'll learn diversification strategies, risk management approaches, and how to adjust your thinking as market conditions shift.

Choose Your Learning Track

Different people have different goals. Pick the pathway that matches where you want to go, and we'll adjust the focus accordingly.

Individual Investor

For people managing their own portfolios who want to make informed decisions without relying entirely on advisors.

  • Personal portfolio construction
  • Tax-efficient strategies for Canadian investors
  • RRSP and TFSA optimization
  • Long-term planning approaches

Career Preparation

If you're looking to work in finance, this track covers what employers actually expect you to know on day one.

  • Industry-standard analysis methods
  • Financial modeling fundamentals
  • Portfolio management principles
  • Professional communication skills

Business Owner Focus

Learn how investors evaluate businesses so you can make better decisions about your own company's growth and financing.

  • Valuation from an investor's perspective
  • Understanding capital structures
  • Exit strategy planning
  • Growth financing options

Work at Your Own Pace

All pathways include the same core curriculum. The difference is in which topics we emphasize and which examples we use. You'll get access to everything, though, so you can explore other areas whenever you want. Some students finish in six months. Others take a year and a half. Both groups end up with solid knowledge—they just get there on different timelines.

Learn From People Who've Been There

Our instructors aren't reading from textbooks. They've managed real portfolios, made actual investment decisions, and learned what works through experience. And yes, they've made mistakes too—which makes them better teachers.

Vesna Thordsen, investment strategy instructor

Vesna Thordsen

Linnea Kasprzyk

Financial Analysis Instructor

Former equity analyst who got tired of the pressure and switched to teaching in 2021. She's particularly good at breaking down complicated financial statements into concepts that actually make sense.
